#MyKalsomStory by Nadhirah Rafidz

In light of our Summer Recruitment Drive which is currently ongoing, we have one story from one of our directors of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Camp, Nadhirah Rafidz or better known as Becky!

Read her story below:

Volunteering as an EIC facilitator last year was a humbling, fun, and inspiring experience. I was humbled by my beneficiaries’ determination to learn despite the unfortunate situation brought about by the pandemic and their daily hardships and it was inspiring to be surrounded by peers who are passionate about fighting inequality in education in Malaysia. Everything from the family-like forged bond between facilitators and beneficiaries, sharing of experiences from different walks of life, and the uplifting nature of the camp is pretty wonderful and would leave a lasting impact on anyone who has the chance to participate.

TKM is truly unique because as a facilitator, you get the chance to design and develop impactful and relevant modules for your beneficiaries and witness firsthand, the impact it makes as your beneficiaries learn and enjoy the camp. You will undoubtedly be touched by your beneficiaries’ dreams and hunger to learn and the best part is, you will be in a position to help them get one step closer to that dream.

Education is an important key towards upward social mobility! Apply now for Kalsom’s Summer Camps and don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference, no matter how big or small, in someone’s life.
